In Missouri the national attention has been focused on Proposition C. This proposition, added by the Republicans, to say the state of Missouri would not have to comply with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, specifically that Missouri residents could not be forced by federal law to purchase health insurance. This proposition is largely symbolic, and would lead to a fight in the courts on the issue of states rights.
In Kansas, the biggest noise has come from the contest between Republican US Rep. Jerry Moran and US Rep. Todd Tiahrt. The commercials here have been quite entertaining, watching them out "REAL CONSERVATIVE" each other has filled our airwaves for days.
MISSOURI
Prop C
TIME had an article today better explaining Prop C. All you really need to see is the picture, this one is really worth a thousand words!
Missouri also has an interesting Republican primary for US House Dist. 4. Vicky Hartzler, who penned the book "Running God's Way" is in a large field of yea, you guessed it, REAL CONSERVATIVES vying to run against Democratic incumbent IKE SKELTON. Ike may have a tough race here in November as this district went heavily for McCain in '08.
We do have another one in Missouri that might be interesting, Worst Person in the World, Cynthia Davis, is being primaried in her attempt to move her special brand of crazy from the State House to the State Senate.

KANSAS
I'm an x-Kansan so if anyone has anything else we should be watching in Kansas, in addition to the US Senate race, I'll update.

I personally like Raj Goyle for US House Rep. in the 4th District in Kansas, but haven't had time to do much research there.
